Every week, a landslide of video game trailers hit the Internet, hyping up the games that have just been released, the games that are about to be released and even the games that don’t have release dates. It can be a bit overwhelming to keep up with all of them, which is why we’ve decided to collect our favorites into a single post.

LAST TIME: Need for Speed, DOOM and Street Fighter V

Fallout 4

I know everyone has already seen it, but this feature wouldn’t make sense without trailers as exciting as the one for Fallout 4. Once you’re done watching it, you can check out our Bostonian’s guide to the post-apocalypse and learn about why you probably shouldn’t preorder the game quite yet.

XCOM 2

With its trailer released earlier in the week, XCOM 2 kind of got steamrolled by Fallout 4, but I’m still just as excited for the follow-up to this strategy reboot as I am for Bethesda’s open-world RPG.

Battleborn

Battleborn will be the third original IP from Gearbox Software, following Brothers in Arms and Borderlands. It melds first-person shooter gameplay with MOBA sensibilities, which sounds like a match made in heaven. I’m going to do my best to get my hands on it at E3.

Dirty Bomb

Dirty Bomb is a new PC shooter that just went into open beta on Steam this week. It’s fairly standard as shooters go, but has enough twists and turns to keep fans of the genre entertained.

SOMA

SOMA looks absolutely terrifying. It’s from the same team behind the Penumbra and Amnesia horror franchises, and this 12-minute trailer should tell you everything you need to know about their next game.

Mighty No. 9

Before we get to our Kickstarter pick of the week, it’s worth highlighting another Kickstarter success story. After it became clear to Keiji Inafune that Mega Man was anything but a priority for Capcom, he decided to take the spirit of the character to a crowdfunding campaign. Mighty No. 9 was a smashing success, and now it’s coming to consoles and PC this September.

The Bard’s Tale IV (Kickstarter)

After successfully launching Wasteland 2 late last year, inXile Entertainment didn’t waste much time before launching its next project on the crowdfunding service: The Bard’s Tale IV. Serving as an official sequel to the PC series that started in 1985, The Bard’s Tale IV will be a first-person, dungeon-crawling RPG “rich in exploration and combat.”

Check out the Kickstarter campaign for The Bard’s Tale IV.
