Amazon just took center stage in the cloud storage war. On Thursday, the world’s largest online storefront announced a new pricing model for its Cloud Drive service, consolidating its previous options into two new unlimited storage plans.

With the Unlimited Photos Plan, Amazon will let you store an infinite number of photos in Cloud Drive for just $11.99 a year. You can upload existing photos to free up room on your devices and then set up Cloud Drive to store any photos you take in the future. You’ll also receive 5GB of additional storage for videos, documents and other files.
With the Unlimited Everything Plan, you can store anything you want in Cloud Drive for $59.99 a year. That’s $5 a month for limitless, unrestricted storage.
To put that into perspective, Dropbox is currently offering 1TB for $10 a month and Google will give you 30TB for $300 a month. Only Microsoft is truly competitive, giving Office 365 subscribers unlimited storage on OneDrive for no additional cost.
“With the two new plans we are introducing today, customers don’t need to worry about storage space—they now have an affordable, secure solution to store unlimited amounts of photos, videos, movies, music, and files in one convenient place,” said Josh Petersen, Director of Amazon Cloud Drive.
