HBO has always been a cut above the competition, but the network really outdid itself with Game of Thrones. The big-budget fantasy series based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire book series quickly became one of HBO’s most popular shows ever, and its fifth season is easily its most highly anticipated season yet.

HBO has posted short clips along with a teaser here and there, but now the big 2-minute Game of Thrones season 5 you’ve been waiting for has just leaked.

Game of Thrones season 4 is currently being shown in select IMAX theaters and ahead of one of the episodes, a new season 5 trailer was aired. It hasn’t been released online yet, but one brazen theater goer decided to record the entire promo on his or her phone.

The resulting clip doesn’t feature the best video or audio quality, of course, but it still gives us our first look at this extended trailer.

The full video is embedded below and Game of Thrones season 5 is set to premiere on April 12th.

UPDATE: Replaced the leaked video with the official trailer from HBO.
