“Impossible” is the name of a new electric bike Kickstarter project started by Impossible Technology that has almost doubled its target goal, with 41 days left to go in the campaign. The Impossible has raised over $95,000 (CAD), after seeking $55,000 in funding.

The Impossible proposes a strange-looking electric bike that can be easily folded and packed into a regular backpack, and carried around alongside your laptop and books.
Even though it doesn’t appear to be that sturdy, Impossible can carry up to 85kg (180 pounds) in its current form. The Impossible bike also packs ten 2,900 mAh batteries that give it a range of 45 minutes at a maximum speed of 12.4mph or 15.6 miles at regular speed, and will have an electric motor designed by Impossible Technology, though the test unit shown in the video below comes with an existing electric motor.
The cheapest Impossible money can buy costs $430 (CAD) and ships at some point next August. This version comes in white and includes a charger, while a black version is a bit more expensive, costing $460. Finally, a $530 version is also available for backers, a limited edition Original Carbon fiber model.
