You shouldn’t text and drive. You really, really shouldn’t. That said, if you’re the kind of person who just can’t help picking up your phone whenever you hear a little buzzing sound, you may want to check out Alfah Mobile, a new smartphone accessory that’s trying to raise $35,000 on Kickstarter.

“Alfah Mobile is a small suction free attachment that attaches the back of your mobile device to your steering wheel or dashboard for convenience and hands free driving,” the project explains on its Kickstarter page. “The attachment can attach to any small device and comes in different colors to match the color of your phone or case. Holding your cell phone visible giving the driver hands free driving and keeps the driver from dropping or reaching around while in traffic.”
We should note that while Alfah Mobile says it will make it safer to glance at your phone while driving, you really still shouldn’t use it to send out text messages while behind the wheel. Instead, the project recommends that you pull over to the side of the road and come to a complete stop before sending out any messages.
As mentioned above, the project is seeking $35,000 and its estimated ship date is March 2015. Learn more about it by clicking the source link below.
