A series of sightings and official teasers suggest that some U.S. carriers may be getting ready to launch the All New HTC One a lot sooner than buyers expect, possibly on March 25th, which is the very same day when HTC will unveil the new device. Android Central has posted an image showing an HTC promotional box that was spotted in a Verizon store with a clear message on it: “Get ready to hit refresh,” the box says, revealing that the phone may be launched on March 25th at 1 p.m. EDT.
A different image obtained by Phandroid shows a post for the all new HTC One (M8) allegedly spotted in a Verizon store, although it doesn’t come with any launch details.
Finally, in an even more official manner, AT&T has kicked off an online contest, supposedly for the HTC One, saying that “we’re about to launch an amazing new HTC device,” and adding that it’ll give away a device a day for five days between March 21st and March 25th. When going through the contest rules, interested participants can easily see that the prize consists of an “AT&T HTC next generation Android device (approx. retail value: $639.99).” However, it’s not clear when AT&T plans to launch the phone.
Meanwhile, Carphone Warehouse will begin selling the handset in the U.K. immediately after launch next week, Android Central says.
