Earlier rumors suggested Samsung (005930) would ditch its traditional home button and navigation keys on the Galaxy S IV, and that it may also include an integrated S Pen stylus. According to a new report from Korean publication Digital Daily, this will not be the case. The company is said to have decided to keep the home button in a last-minute decision and also ruled that the S Pen stylus will remain unique to the Galaxy Note line of devices.
It had previously been reported that the Galaxy S IV will be equipped with a 4.99-inch full HD 1080p AMOLED display, a 1.8GHz eight-core Exnoys 5 Octa processor and a 13-megapixel camera. The device may also include 2GB of RAM, LTE connectivity, NFC, a microSD slot, wireless charging capabilities and touchless gesture functionality.
Samsung is rumored to be announcing the Galaxy S IV during a press conference on March 15th. The phone will reportedly then launch sometime in April.
