Another day, another change. Living in the modern word is a bit trying sometimes. You get used to things like your email address, and then someone goes and pulls the rug out from under you. Where’s the humanity? To be fair, AT&T did this once before when they changed “attwireless.blackberry.net” to “mycingular.blackberry.net”. During October and November AT&T will be changing their @mycingular.att.net addresses to @att.blackberry.net. This makes sense, given the company’s move towards brand unification. Current customers will retain the same names, i.e. bgr@mycingular.blackberry.net will simply change to bgr@att.blackberry.net. Mycingular.blackberry.net addresses will forward to the new addresses through March 1, 2008. We knew this was bound to happen, but does anyone feel just the least bit upset by the departure of the Orange Splat from you BlackBerry handheld? Nah, neither do we.
