Would you be willing to spend your morning waiting in line for an iPhone 5s? Maybe, but would you be willing to wait in that same line two months after the phone’s release? According to PCMag, there are plenty of consumers doing exactly that this Monday morning at the 59th Street Apple Store in Manhattan. After selling 9 million units on opening weekend, there is still plenty of demand, and the popular Apple Store is having to ask those interested in picking up an iPhone 5s to wait in a line outside so that other customers can move in and out of the store. Considering the fact that availability has become less of a problem over the past few weeks, this line might be more symbolic of this store’s popularity than indicative of supply constraints, but nonetheless, people are still waiting in line for Apple’s new phone.
