At its annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco on Monday, Apple announced Facebook integration would be coming to the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in iOS 6. Users will be able to login to the social networking service from their device’s settings — similar to Twitter — and share updates from apps such as photos and locations from Maps. The service will also be featured in the App Store, allowing users to “Like” apps, TV shows and movies. Facebook, along with Twitter, will be fully integrated into the Notification Center, giving users the ability to quickly tweet or update their status, and will be integrated into the iPhone’s contact list. The Cupertino-based company also announced that the same integration will be coming to Macs.
