Motorola and Sprint have widespread data provisioning issues

It looks like Motorola might be experiencing some serious data provisioning issues with some of their handsets. The affected models include the RAZR, KRZR, ic402, ic502, Boost c290, and the Motorola Q. There’s not a whole lot of specific information at this point, but we do know that the problem is limited to phones with an ESN that begins with a zero. Sprint stores and dealers are being told to pull any such handsets from their shelves until further notice, and anyone in possession of an affected phone will be offered a warranty exchange.
