Apple’s upcoming mid-range iPhone 5C could be one of the most important devices Apple debuts this year. For smartphone enthusiasts it’s probably not as exciting as the flagship iPhone 5S, but the phone is expected to give Apple’s position in emerging markets a much-needed boost. While the iPhone 5C is not expected to come anywhere close to that magic sub-$100 price point some Android phones are hitting, it will likely retail for about $400 off contract, making it a much more realistic possibility than the $650+ iPhone 5S for many consumers.

We have seen 5C leak in bits and pieces over the past couple of months, and now the handset has seemingly been caught on camera fully assembled and powered on for the first time. And the video comes from well-known insider C Technology, so could very well be the real deal.

The full video is embedded below and Apple’s iPhone 5C is expected to launch on September 20th after being announced during a press conference on the 10th.
