The only thing Verizon Wireless seems to love more than blanketing the country with fast 4G LTE service is being late to the game with new smartphone releases. The company just recently launched Google’s Nexus 6, which initially became available five months ago in November last year, and now it is making Galaxy S6 andGalaxy S6 edge preorders available after the rest of the major wireless carriers in the United States did so last week.
In our Galaxy S6 review, we called Samsung’s new flagship smartphone a breath of fresh air. The handset features a bold new design and a premium aluminum and glass housing, but Samsung didn’t stop there — the Galaxy S6 is also packed full of the latest and greatest mobile technology available today.
And now, all that tech can finally be preordered by Verizon Wireless subscribers.
Both the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are now available to purchase ahead of their April 10th release. The Galaxy S6 starts at $199.99 on contract for the 32GB model, or the phone can be paid for in monthly installments starting at $24.99 per month.
The Galaxy S6 edge model starts at $299.99 on contract, or $29.16 per month.
