Samsung doesn’t have a beloved blogger that diehard fans can flock to like Apple does, so the company has seemingly decided to take matters into its own hands. Earlier this week, we shared a glowing review that Samsung’s new Gear S smartwatch recently received. Sadly, that glowing review was written by… Samsung. Now Samsung is back, and it’s blogging about its flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 4.
In its most recent post, the company has shared 10 hidden features on its best ever Note smartphone.

The fact that Samsung has resorted to fan-blogging about its own devices doesn’t change anything about the devices themselves, of course, and the Galaxy Note 4 remains one of the best phablets in the world right now. In fact, for many people, it’s the single best phablet out there.
We reviewed the Galaxy Note 4 back in October and we absolutely loved it.
The millions of Note 4 owners out there (and the significantly smaller number of future Galaxy Note Edge owners out there) will definitely enjoy learning about some nifty hidden features, so let’s see what Samsung has in store.
First, the company’s blog post explains that users can hover over a URL with the S Pen to open a preview of the linked page. There’s also a nice hidden trick that allows users to schedule calendar events by writing them with the S Pen instead of typing them out.
Beyond the pen, Samsung has detailed several other cool features including a caller information display function, a special “Meeting Mode,” and a “Sound Detector” feature.
