Just in time for the holidays, Microsoft is making its biggest push yet for the Xbox One. Starting on November 2nd, every Xbox One will receive a temporary $50 discount. That includes the current standard console, the console with Kinect, the Sunset Overdrive bundle, the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare bundle and the Assassin’s Creed bundle. Each and every Xbox One will retail for $50 cheaper.

This is the latest in a string of efforts by Microsoft to get the Xbox One back on a level playing field with the PlayStation 4. Microsoft never expected to beat out Sony’s offering internationally, but the U.S. sales have been something of a disappointment.

Sony crushed Microsoft last year when the consoles launched, but price was a major factor. The only Xbox One model available came bundled with the Kinect, bumping its price to $499 while the PS4 sold for $399. The price difference, combined with the prelaunch missteps on Microsoft’s part, gave Sony the opportunity to take the lead.

Microsoft isn’t going to let Sony win two holiday seasons in a row without a fight.

Once the price drop goes into effect on November 2nd, these will be the official prices of each new Xbox One bundle:

  • Xbox One Sunset Overdrive Bundle: $349
  • Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle: $349
  • Xbox One Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle w/ 1TB Hard Drive: $449
