Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are selling like hot cakes, as the company has just announced that a record 4 million combined iPhone 6 versions have been preordered in the first 24 hours, further confirming previous reports of record sales. Apple is said to be doing everything it can to make sure it has enough iPhone 6 units on hand at launch, with recent reports having revealed that the iPhone maker might have booked all the available air cargo from China to U.S. for a couple of weeks. A pilot of one such plane has decided to post images of a massive iPhone 6 shipment on MacRumors’ forums, saying that the first iPhone 6 boxes are already arriving to the U.S. – a story late last week revealed that the first maritime iPhone 6 shipments have reached the States.

“Yep, that’s what I do. I fly stuff. Privileged to be a small part of the Apple supply chain. Just landed a 747 full of iPhone 6’s in Anchorage. Another crew will take the airplane on to Chicago. It’ll be on the ground at O’Hare about 9am Sept. 15. I gave it a little extra gas coming over the Pacific, just to get them here a little quicker. You’re welcome,” goforblacksky, the purported pilot, wrote on the forums, in a thread titled “I just flew 195,000 iPhone 6 & 6+ from China to U.S.”

The pilot also posted a couple of images showing him nest to the precious iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus cargo, available below.
