The information floodgates on Verizon Wireless’ upcoming HTC DROID Incredible 2 have been lifted. Last week several leaked images of the phone surfaced, and on Monday even more details emerged. According to images picked up by Android Central, the DROID Incredible 2 will support global roaming for “more than 220 voice and 200 data services countries,” — a feature the original DROID Incredible lacked. As we suspected, it appears the device will remain very similar to the Incredible S HTC announced during Mobile World Congress. It sports 3G mobile hotspot connectivity, a 1.3 front-facing camera, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. While the European version runs Android 2.2 (Froyo), earlier rumors have suggested that Verizon’s will be loaded with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Verizon Wireless has yet to confirm the DROID Incredible 2, but these leaks suggest a launch could be imminent. Hit the jump for another image describing some of the phone’s specs.
