If you’re currently shopping for a new carrier and you’ve been having trouble deciding, you’ll be interested to know that the ever-growing T-Mobile US is running some nice incentives for the President’s Day holiday. The hefty minute-bundles, My Faves and a promise of 3G in 2008 might not be enough to sway you, so T-Mobile is throwing in a few additional perks. Starting today and running through Monday February 18, the pink provider is waiving the $35 activation fee for customers signing up for new postpaid contracts. That might sound like a small deal but hey, that’s $35 more that you can put towards your handset. Family plans apply as well so if you’re picking up a new line for you, your wife, your three rugrats, that’s an extra $175 that you can keep in your pocket. T-Mobile also has plenty of deals running on handsets with new 2-year contracts, including the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 for $100 and the HTC Shadow for $150.
