Sony is doing its best to get smartphone enthusiasts excited about its next-generation “Honami” flagship phone despite the fact that most attention is turned toward Samsung ahead of this year’s IFA conference in Berlin, Germany. Samsung is expected to debut its new Galaxy Note III smartphone as well as the new Galaxy Gear smartwatch, but Sony has an exciting new Android device in store as well. The company teased its new phone in a pair of photos last week and now it’s back with another teaser image focused on the phone’s large camera lens. “Have we captured your attention yet?” the teaser asks on Twitter. Sony’s Honami is expected to be unveiled as the Xperia i1, featuring a 5-inch full HD display, a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, a 20-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM and a microSD slot. Sony’s teaser image follows below.
