Oops! If you break out your bifocals you’ll see some products shots above of the upcoming flip phone that Sony Ericsson will be issuing in the not-so-distant future. That’s not the “oops” though; we’ve seen them before. Some eagle-eyed folks over at the Sony Ericsson Blog have spotted two new XML files on Sony Ericsson’s WAP site that shed a bit of light on the upcoming clam shell. So here’s what we know thanks to the new files and the few details we had prior to their discovery:
- 240 x 320 pixel QVGA display
- 2 megapixel camera
- NetFront 3.4 browser
- Available in two colors: Amethyst Silver and Grand Onyx
- Location-based service support (Integrated GPS? We doubt it)
- Two versions: Z780i for Europe and Z780a for North America
No we won’t be fighting through any lines to snag one of these little guys, but from the looks of things the Z780 will be a pretty decent low to mid-level handset.
