Samsung definitely had an off year in 2014, as its Galaxy S5 posted disappointing sales and the company’s overall profits were down significantly. That said, 2015 is a new year and Samsung has an opportunity to make up any ground it lost with what will reportedly be a completely redesigned Galaxy S6. Nowhereelse.fr has spotted some new concept renders posted at Behance that show how Samsung can regain its momentum with a completely fresh approach to smartphone design.

As you can see, the proposed Galaxy S6 combines the round edges on the side of the device like those we see on the Galaxy S5 with flatter, more define edges on the bottom of the device like those we’ve seen on the recently released Galaxy A5. In a way, this proposed device is a bit of a mashup between the traditional Samsung look and the most recent look it’s developed with its Galaxy A series.

Of course, this is just a concept so there’s no telling if it’s anything close to what Samsung is actually planning. If we had to bet, we’d say the Galaxy S6 will look more like the Galaxy A series than anything else but we’ll have to wait and see when Samsung unveils the device in the coming weeks.
