New leak reveals Galaxy Note 4 details that no one saw coming

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Launch

We’ve seen some killer specs for the Galaxy Note 4 leak recently but a new report from The Korea Times says Samsung is planning on doing something with its next flagship phablet that no one has seen coming so far. An executive at one of Samsung’s supplier partners tells The Korea Times that Samsung is actually planning to release two versions of the Galaxy Note 4: One standard version with a flat display and one with a curved display that will be similar in shape to the Galaxy Round that the company released last year.

However, just because Samsung is releasing a curved version of the Galaxy Note 4, that doesn’t mean you should expect to see it pop up in at your local carrier store this fall — The Korea Times’ source says that the curved phablet will be a “niche” device that would only release in a limited number of markets.

Everything we’ve heard about the Galaxy Note 4 so far suggests it’s going to be an absolute beast of a phone and rumored specs for the device include a 5.7-inch QHD display with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Samsung will likely launch the device in early September alongside its “premium” Galaxy F smartphone.
