More new unexpected handsets from the Finnish giant were issued today, all to be released in the third quarter of this year. No S60 love this round unfortunately, but lighter users will likely find something to lust over. Each of the new devices brushes upon the “fashion phone” category while still showing many of the design queues that Nokia seems to be integrating into most of their new handsets these days. Smooth rounded lines and the familiar directional pad for example, can be found on each of the three handsets. Let’s have a look at some spec highlights, corresponding with the image above from left to right.

Also of note, each of the three handsets makes use of a new accelerometer-based tap response system. The user can tap the device twice to indicate time, snooze alarms or alerts and even silence or reject incoming phone calls. On the 6600 Fold, a quick double-tap will also wake up the hidden external OLED display. Check out Nokia’s dedicated site for more info and even an interview with the designer.
