Earlier reports have claimed that Google is preparing to release a sequel to its popular Nexus 7 tablet. It has also been suggested that the second-generation slate will be priced higher than its predecessor. According to an image of a supposed inventory list published by Android Central on Wednesday, the new Nexus 7 will be offered in 16GB and 32GB variants for $229 and $269 respectively. The latest rumors claim Google’s upcoming tablet will be equipped with an improved 7-inch 1980 x 1200-pixel display, a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel camera on the back. The second-generation Nexus 7 is expected to be released later this month or in early August. The leaked image follows below.
