Google has made the Nexus 6 available for preorder only in the U.S. so far, as the company only had a limited stock to work with and it quickly sold out. Meanwhile, all five U.S. carriers that are supposed to have the handset in store are keeping Nexus 6 launch details secret for the time being. Thus, it’s not surprising to hear that the U.K., and likely other international buyers, will have to wait until December to get their hands on the handset, as Android Central reports.

The Nexus 6 should be available for preorder in the region starting on November 18th, from Mobiles.co.uk not Google, and the handset should be shipped by December 1st.
Additionally, local mobile operator O2 is already confirmed to carry the handset, offering it on a £28/month plan that includes unlimited calls, texts and 1GB of LTE data. Plans for other carriers will likely be official for the Nexus 6 once its available for preorder, and the device should be available in three color options, including white, black and gold.
Details about Google Play preorders for the U.K. have not been revealed just yet, and it’s not clear what Nexus 6 version Mobiles.co.uk will have to offer when it comes to memory options. Previous reports did suggest that the Nexus 6 might be delayed in the U.K., at least compared with North America.
Furthermore, the full price for the handset has not been specified for the U.K., but buyers can expect it to be on par with the U.S. price.
