The Nexus 6 is Google’s most advanced Nexus smartphone yet, with the company focusing on premium Nexus devices this year that feature high-end specs and matching prices. The Nexus 6 has top-notch hardware across the board and the phone’s camera is supposed to offer a significantly better performance than previous models. Even though the Nexus 6 is not available to users for extensive camera testing, one Googler has just posted camera samples taken at night with the Nexus phablet.

The first camera samples taken with the Nexus 6’s main 13-megapixel rear camera — which packs a Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS) — were posted online a few days ago, but they were all take during the day.
But Google’s vice president of design Matias Duarte took to Google+ to post a couple of Halloween-themed pictures, both taken at night with the new Nexus 6.
“Happy to be back home, and look who was waiting to welcome me!,” Duarte wrote, posting the two images at the end of this post.
In addition to offering Nexus 6 buyers access to an even better camera, Google should also fix Nexus 5 camera issues once Lollipop rolls out and ensure an even better camera performance across Android devices that will make the jump to Android 5.0.
