It looks like the rumors about Motorola’s upcoming smartphone having customizable hardware were true. AdAge flags the first ad released so far for Motorola’s new Moto X smartphone that touts the device as “the first smartphone that you can design yourself.” Motorola also says that it’s giving users the option to customize their smartphones because “you should have the freedom to design the things in your life to be as unique as you are.” Although we have no idea yet how customization on the Moto X will work, we do know from earlier leaks that one variation of the device will feature a 720p display, a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, a 10-megapixel camera and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
