While everyone is obsessing over the new Nokia N97, Motorola quietly added another slider to its ROKR portfolio. The EM35 is a music phone to the max with Motorola’s own MOTOMUSIC music player that connects to Motorola’s music store, SongID music identification application, “Fast Scroll” navigation wheel, integrated stereo speakers and stereo Bluetooth support. The ROKR EM35 also sports an integrated FM antenna that allows users to listen to FM radio with RDS over stereo Bluetooth headsets or external speakers without the use of a wired headset. On the phone side of the handset, the EM35 has the following features:
- GSM 850/900/1800/1900, EDGE
- 2.2” QVGA TFT
- 3.1 MP w/ zoom and fixed focus
- Noise Reducing Crystal Talk technology
- 110MB user available memory
- MicroSD Card slot (supports up to 32GB)
- 810.00 mAh that provides up to approximately 400 minutes talk time and 400 hours standby
- 49.5 x 107.00 x 16.00mm dimensions
The EM35 is expected to hit the shelves by the end of the year. No pricing or location information was released but considering we only have 29 days left in 2008, that information should be forthcoming very soon.
