A new report suggests that Motorola is preparing three new smartphones that will carry the Droid brand forward at Verizon Wireless. According to a report from @evleaks, the Droid Maxx, Droid Mini and Droid Ultra will launch soon. The Ultra will reportedly be the company’s flagship device with a 5-inch full HD 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and a high-end 10-megapixel camera with an extra sensor for improved white balance and exposure. Earlier reports claimed that the Droid Maxx will be a slightly thicker model with a larger battery, similar to the RAZR Maxx and RAZR Maxx HD. Motorola is scheduled to host small press gatherings on July 10th and 11th at Google’s Mountain View headquarters, and it is speculated that the new DROID smartphones will make appearances at the events.
