Motorola is working on a bunch of new smartphones, a new report suggests. Apparently, the Android smartphone maker might be testing at least three distinct devices that have different screen sizes but share one important feature: killer screen resolution. All models are supposedly packing 2K displays with 2560 x 1440-pixel resolution.

More and more Android smartphone makers appear to be moving towards 2K displays in high-end devices this year, and Motorola’s next Droid Turbo might follow the same trend. A Redditor who goes by the name of AndroidLeaks posted information about these unreleased Motorola devices that are supposedly in testing in or around Chicago.
While their commercial names have not been revealed yet, the Redditor did list model numbers for each of them: Motorola XT1578, Motorola XT1585 and Motorola XT192A.
In addition to featuring 2K displays, Bluetooth LE support and running Android 5.1 Lollipop, all three devices appear to be running on Verizon’s network, which seems to suggest these might be Motorola’s new Droids for 2015. Battery details for either model have not been revealed.
Motorola is yet to announce announcement plans for any of these devices, so Droid Turbo fans looking for this year’s top Motorola-made Verizon Droid will have to keep waiting.
