Microsoft is still struggling in the smartphone business, where it’s a distant third player, well behind Google and Apple when it comes to market share. But the company is certainly doing a lot better when it comes to smartphone applications, as Microsoft has some very popular mobile apps available on both iPhone and Android. And the company is reportedly going to launch a new iPhone app soon called Flow that might change the way you email and text.

Details about Flow were discovered on a public site by Twitter user @h0x0d. According to the leaked document, Flow will be an email application that will largely work like a messenger app to enable “rapid email conversations on your phone with the people who are important to you.”
Flow is supposed to deliver “fast, fluid, natural conversations: no subject lines, salutations, or signatures. Flow is designed for fast, light-weight conversations in real-time,” the description further says. Apparently, only email/chats that start in Flow are available in Flow, not your entire inbox.
The Flow app will be an app accessory to Microsoft’s Outlook email app, the leaked description seems to indicate, but the company is yet to confirm it. A spokesperson told ZDNet that Microsoft has nothing to share about flow.
