LG might be preparing a budget smartphone for customers who are looking for a more affordable option than the LG Optimus G Pro. Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru reports that the LG “G Pro Lite Dual” will go on sale in Russia soon and will have the same 5.5-inch screen as the Optimus G Pro, but the rest of the rumored specifications indicate a much cheaper phone. The G Pro Lite Dual is reported to feature a 960 x 540-pixel display, dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and the option to expand with microSD cards. The budget smartphone will also be loaded with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru is reporting an unsubsidized price of 12,990 rubles ($400 USD) for the LG smartphone and a release sometime this month in Russia. An official press photo can be found below.
