Lenovo is seemingly trying to overwhelm us with new laptops and tablets at CES 2015, as it’s unveiled more than 10 different computers at this week’s big trade show. Below we’ve picked out what look like five of the most promising Lenovo tablets and laptops and have provided pictures of them along with Lenovo’s own description of each device. In all, 2015 looks like a terrific year for anyone buying a new Lenovo PC.

FROM EARLIER: The 3 biggest game changers announced at CES 2015 so far

Lenovo Yoga 3

What Lenovo says:

The new YOGA 3 gives consumers even more flexibility with choices of an 11-in model or a new 14-in model with a backlit screen. Both convertibles showcase an envelope-thin design, measuring 18.3mm thin or less. In fact, the larger 14-in model gives users even more screen real estate yet remains extremely thin and light built in a 13-in chassis. And at just 15.8mm thin and 1.1kg, the 11-in model remains the lightest convertible in the YOGA family.

Both feature the classic YOGA two-hinge design allowing 360° flexibility to give consumers amazing function and value with four special modes – Laptop, Stand, Tent and Tablet. Lenovo refined the hinge to now open and close more smoothly and also allow the screen to lay flat at 180°.

Yoga Tablet 2 with AnyPen

What Lenovo says:

The 8-in YOGA Tablet 2 with Windows featuring AnyPen Technology extends the YOGA family tradition: the hardware not only adapts to users with its four modes, but it also provides a new, innovative writing solution that gives users a better way to interact with their device and distinguishes it from other tablets today.

With Lenovo AnyPen Technology, any pen or pencil becomes a handwriting tool – no stylus needed. Consumers can pick their preferred tool and use it directly on the tablet’s touch screen for easy navigation instead of relying on their finger. Lenovo AnyPen Technology makes handwriting on a tablet now as intuitive as writing on a piece of paper.

The LaVie Z HZ750

What Lenovo says:

The LaVie Z HZ750 not only gives consumers incredible portability, but also a new level of flexibility with its 360-degree hinge pioneered by Lenovo in its original YOGA family of convertibles. The LaVie Z offers an impressive two-in-one experience: work in Laptop mode with the comfortable keyboard or rotate it 360° to Tablet mode for closer, more interactive computing.

Not only lightweight, both models of the LaVie Z are extremely thin, measuring just 16.9 mm. Despite their record light weight and incredible thinness, they’re also unbelievably strong. Both machines use a specialized magnesium-lithium (Mg-Li)3 body construction along with specialized technologies including a Magnesium Lithium forged back cover. The materials are 50 percent lighter than aluminum and as strong as any heavier typical Magnesium alloy laptop materials resulting in unsurpassed quality engineering.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon

What Lenovo says:

The third generation state-of-the-art X1 Carbon continues the tradition of ThinkPad brand equity. The lightest 14” performance ultrabook in the world features new options like a super bright FHD display for the best viewing experience and a PCIe solid state drive for up to 80% faster storage performance than standard SSDs.

The newest X1 Carbon is also the most mobile ever, with even longer battery life and still weighing under 2.9 pounds with a durable and rugged carbon-forged chassis. Coupled with 5th Generation Intel® Core™ processors and a whole suite of accessories to optimize the experience, the X1 Carbon permeates the ThinkPad heritage and continues to inspire relentless innovation.

Lenovo Flex 3

What Lenovo says:

An ideal entry convertible laptop, the FLEX 3 now comes with a 360° hinge, allowing the touch screen to rotate full circle so users can put it in Tablet mode. FLEX 3 gives users even more flexibility to do more in any mode: watch the latest hit drama in Tent mode, view family photos inStand mode, read a novel in Tablet mode or type a document in Laptop mode.

Thin and light, the FLEX 3 convertible laptop also offers a full Windows 8.1 Update computing experience with live tiles and a consistent interface across users’ Windows devices. They offer powerful computing with up to 5th generation Intel® Core™ i7 processors in the 14-in and 15-in models and up to Pentium processors in the 11-in model and also feature up to 1 TB of storage for holding users’ digital content libraries.
