HTC (2498) is gambling on Windows Phone 8 with two new smartphones this November: the Windows Phone 8S and 8X. In BGR’s hands-on with the Windows Phone 8X, we called the bold and colorful smartphone a perfect match for Microsoft’s (MSFT) Windows Phone 8 user interface. The Taiwanese handset maker released a video teaser for the flagship 8X by highlighting features such as Xbox Music, the built-in Beats Audio amplifier speaker, the widescreen front-facing HD camera, Skype and the ever-changing live tile notifications. AT&T (T) also confirmed with CNET it will sell the HTC Windows Phone 8X in November. Pricing and release date have yet to announced. The video teaser follows below.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X sports a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 4.3-inch widescreen display (720p resolution), 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera and NFC. It’s battery is non-removable.
