HTC One sequel purportedly pictured in leak

The followup to HTC’s well-reviewed HTC One flagship phone — which we hope will not be called the HTC One 2 — is apparently in the works. Unwired View has spotted a leaked picture posted on the Taiwanese website ePrice that purportedly shows the rear panel of HTC’s next flagship device that is currently codenamed the HTC M8. Unwired View notes that there’s an extra hole at the top of the device’s rear panel that it speculates is part of the new phone’s fingerprint scanning system. HTC will likely unveil its followup to the One early next year, probably before Samsung starts blitzing the tech world with marketing hype for its Galaxy S5 smartphone. The picture of the leaked HTC M8 panel follows below.
