Early iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus adopters have a lot to love in Apple’s latest and greatest iPhones. There have been a few problems with the phone so far though, and we recently told you how to fix five common issues with the iPhone 6s. While “sharing Live Photos” cannot exactly be listed as a problem, per se, it is one issue that 6s owners have been complaining about since day one: There’s no easy way to share a Live Photo with someone who doesn’t have an iPhone 6s or an iPhone 6s Plus.
Well, that all changed on Thursday thanks to a new app that was just released in the App Store.

If you own an iPhone 6s or an iPhone 6s Plus, Live GIF is the app you’ve been waiting for. As you might have guessed, it allows users to quickly and easily convert any Live Photo into a GIF. The resulting file can then be shared anywhere, and the app provides a simple sharing mechanism for quick access to things like iMessage and Facebook.
Also nifty is the app’s 3D Touch support, which includes a Quick Actions menu with one option. Tap and hold firmly on the app’s icon on your home screen and you’ll be given an option to convert your most recently captured Live Photo into a GIF.
