Google just keeps rolling em’ out. They have just debuted an Audio Ads service, which allows Google ad publishers to tap into existing internet and network radio stations. Previously reserved for large marketing and ad companies, Google is attempting to make radio advertising available and accessible for the little guys. The system is pretty simple, with a web based template asking for pertinent details about what you’re selling. Once submitted, Google will return a bid for your ad business. If you accept the bid, the company will then hire professional voice talent, producing a quality radio ad for a fraction of the traditional cost. Not too shabby. There are sporadic reports of availability within Adwords accounts, but Google appears to be staggering the product roll out. Current Adwords subscribers are also being offered $400 in free radio content.
