Apple’s last few events have really shown us that the company is changing in a number of ways. For example, Apple used to only announce products that were weeks away from shipping. With things like the Mac Pro, Apple Watch and new Retina Macbook, that’s simply no longer the case. Apple also changed the format of its events a bit. Whereas Steve Jobs used to start things off by running through some impressive numbers for a while, we’ve now seen two different Apple events kick off with guest appearances from other companies.

It seems odd, but we couldn’t be happier with the guest appearance that kicked things off during the Apple Watch event on Monday.

The first big announcement from Apple’s event wasn’t about the Apple Watch, iOS or even the shockingly thin new Retina Macbook. At launch, HBO Now will be available exclusively on Apple devices.

The new service will launch in April in time for the April 12th premiere of Game of Thrones season 5, and what better way to celebrate than to show off a fresh new trailer for the hotly anticipated season of HBO’s most popular show ever?
