Samsung may have just fixed one of the biggest complaints about the Galaxy S6

Galaxy S6 RAM Issue Fix

One of the most important issues affecting Galaxy S6 buyers concerns RAM performance. After various Galaxy S6 owners complained about app crashes and memory issues over the past few weeks, Samsung unofficially acknowledged the issue by promising a fix via one of its local Facebook pages. Since then, the company launched a minor software issue that’s believed to have patched up the RAM problem.

Even though the notes available in Samsung’s G920FXXU1AODG software update do not specifically mention RAM fixes, GSM Arena says that the Galaxy S6 is showing a noticeable improvement in stability and performance following this update.

The software update weighs in at 138.32MB and should be available as an over-the-air (OTA) update to European Galaxy S6 owners.

Samsung says the software update includes device stability improvements, bug fixes, new/enhanced features and “further improvements to performance.” Samsung doesn’t list any major new features in this Android 5.0.2 version.

Similar updates will probably be released in more markets in the future, especially if it indeed fixes the RAM bugs.
