BGR blew things wide open on Wednesday morning when we exclusively revealed nearly everything you need to know about Samsung’s upcoming next-generation flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6. As we revealed, the new Galaxy S6 will feature a metal and glass body with a 64-bit octa-core processor, a 5.1-inch quad HD Super AMOLED display, a 20-megapixel camera, up to 128GB of internal storage, Samsung Pay support and a 2,550 mAh battery with quick charging technology that will provide up to four hours of battery life after charging for just 10 minutes.

Of course, there are still a few important questions that need to be answered, and the biggest one is fairly simple: When?

DON’T MISS: Samsung is reportedly removing one of the Galaxy S5’s best features from the Galaxy S6

According to an earlier report from Bloomberg, Samsung is likely to release its new Galaxy S6 sometime in March. It was unclear from the report how solid that timeframe was, though.

Now, a new report out of South Korea claims to reveal Samsung’s exact launch date for the new Galaxy S6. Chosun, which has accurately reported some of Samsung’s plans in the past, says that the next-generation Galaxy phone will be unveiled on March 2nd during a press conference at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Oddly, the report also stated that Samsung currently has multiple prototypes of the phone and has not yet decided which one it will launch. It is possible that the site is referring to the different versions of the phone that we’ve heard about, which include a waterproof version and an “edge panel” version similar to the Galaxy Note Edge; it is unclear if either of those models will launch at the same time as the main Galaxy S6 smartphone.
