This is the massive, in-depth Galaxy S5 review you’ve been waiting for

Galaxy S5 Review

Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S5 didn’t exactly knock people’s socks off when it was finally unveiled last month during the annual Mobile World Congress trade show, but it was likely due in large part to the sky-high expectations brought about by months of rumors. Smartphone fans were expecting a quad HD display, a metal enclosure and even an integrated eye scanner, but none of those new features materialized.

Instead, all we got was the best smartphone Samsung has ever built.

Samsung’s last Galaxy S4 flagship phone was a jack of all trades that really didn’t seem to have much focus. We saw signs of life later in the year when the Galaxy Note 3 finally began to address Samsung’s “feature spam” addiction, and now the Galaxy S5 thankfully carries that trend forward by toning down the flashy new feature additions and focusing on refinement as well as a handful of useful new features.

But is the Galaxy S5 a winner?

We’ll have to wait until we get our own hands on Samsung’s new flagship smartphone before we can conclusively say one way or the other, but fans anxious waiting to get a better look at the S5 can now do so courtesy of industry insider Eldar Murtazin.

Murtazin’s site Mobile-review has published an exhaustive review of the Galaxy S5 a month before it is set to launch. The site also posted a number of in-depth hands-on videos showcasing Samsung’s new flagship phone.

Three Galaxy S5 review videos are embedded below and those looking for more can head over to Murtazin’s site, which is linked down in the source section.
