Samsung (005930) plans to introduce new eye-tracking technology in its next-generation Galaxy S IV smartphone, according to a new report. With just over a week before Samsung unveils its new flagship smartphone, The New York Times on Monday reported that the South Korean smartphone king has some new tricks up its sleeve. The paper claims to have spoken to a person who has tried the Galaxy S IV, and he or she detailed new eye-tracking technology that allows the user to scroll through pages without having to tough or tilt the phone at all — pages will scroll automatically as the user’s eyes move down the screen. The new feature will reportedly be demonstrated live during Samsung’s Galaxy S IV unveiling next week, where BGR will be reporting live.
