We’re now just one day away from Samsung’s IFA press conference, where the world will get its first official glimpse at the new Galaxy Gear smartwatch and the new flagship Galaxy Note III phablet. We still haven’t seen the Note III’s final hardware leak, but bits and pieces continue to trickle out. Now, AnTuTu benchmark test results said to be from the Galaxy Note III have emerged and they reveal an absolute beast of a smartphone.

According to screenshots published by @evleaks, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note III smartphone scores a very impressive 24,497 on AnTuTu’s benchmark test. That figure is even higher than a Note III prototype reportedly scored in early August, and it represents a marked improvement over Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S4, which scored just over 21,000 on the same test.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note III is expected to feature a 5.7-inch display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor or an eight-core Exynos 5 Octa chipset depending on region, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. BGR will be providing coverage of Samsung’s Note III unveiling on Wednesday, and we’ll also take a hands-on look at the new phablet following its announcement.

Screenshots showing the AnTuTu test scores follow below.
