Samsung is getting ready to announce a couple of new flagship devices in the coming weeks, including the Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Note 4, both destined to fight the iPhone 6 this year. The latter is Samsung’s second high-end handset of the year, and the company will unveil it during a special media event scheduled for September 3rd in Berlin, at IFA 2014.

FROM EARLIER: Here comes the beastly Galaxy Note 4

While confirmation of the Galaxy Note 4 launch event arrived a few days ago, the actual invite for the Galaxy Note 4 announcement has just hit the web, and from the looks of it, there’s absolutely no doubt the Galaxy Note 4 is the star of the show.

“Ready? Note the date,” the Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 invitation message reads, clearly hinting at the next-gen flagship. If that’s not enough of a hint that the Galaxy Note 4 is coming at Unpacked 2, then the graphics that joins it makes the message even clearer.

The image is depicting the Air command wheel that was introduced last year at the same event in Germany, as a brand new software feature created for the Galaxy Note 3 that was announced at the show.

Interestingly, SamMobile notes that the Air command menu is not just a replica of the Galaxy Note 3 menu. The S Finder function is not present in the image, but the Action Memo, Scrap Booker and Screen Write features are available, joined by what appears to be a “manual selection” tool that’s available on the Galaxy Note 3 S Pen only when holding the button of the stylus while tracing the desired content.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 keynote invite follows below.
