Facebook can be an great source of entertainment, especially when it comes to killing productivity, but that doesn’t mean everyone needs to see everything you do on the social network. Business Insider has put together a quick and handy guide that can help you turn invisible on Facebook through some easy tweaks to your settings.

FROM EARLIER: Man who allegedly defrauded Facebook is now an outlaw on the run

The publication says that, by performing some simple privacy settings changes, nobody but you will be able to view your activity, view your photos or any of the places that you’ve checked into. Or, if you so desire, you could limit access to your profile and Facebook activity only to those people you want to see what you’re doing inside Facebook.

The quick guide teaches you how to hide your future and past posts, who can send you friend requests, who can contact you via your inbox, who can see and access your email address, who can look you up using your phone number, whether search engines can have access to your timeline, who can see/post on your timeline, who can tag you in posts and pictures and who can follow your activity.

The guide also lets you choose whether your name can be paired with ads and manage the apps that can access your information.

The full guide, complete with handy screenshots showing you the various settings you have to change, is available at the source link.
