Following the announcement of Dell’s HSPA+ 4G-enabled Streak 7 tablet, the Texas-based company has just unveiled its latest Android handset — the Dell Venue. Distant cousin to the Windows Phone 7-powered Venue Pro, Dell’s new Venue smartphone runs version 2.2 of the Android OS. Additional styling cues come courtesy of Dell’s own UI overlay known as “Dell Stage,” and beyond the OS we’re looking at a 1GHz processor, an 8-megapixel camera, full Flash 10.1 support, Dell Stage widget support, a curved body and a 4.1-inch Gorilla Glass touchscreen display. Details surrounding pricing and a launch date haven’t yet been revealed, but Dell promised to provide more information in the coming weeks.
