Research In Motion (RIMM) might be late to the smartphone war with its January 30th launch of BlackBerry 10, but at least now we’ve got a better look at what its ” BlackBerry L-Series” a.k.a. the “BlackBerry London” smartphone will look like. CrackBerry has the latest batch of images showing the London next to a BlackBerry Bold 9700. As you would expect from a touchscreen device, the London is noticeably larger than the Bold 9700 and has a mini PlayBook look and feel to it.

The last leak revealed the London is only slightly larger than Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone 5.

RIM hasn’t made any official announcements regarding the London or even revealed any specs, but rumors suggest the smartphone will sport a 4.2-inch display (1280 x 768 pixel resolution), a dual-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, a microSD slot and an 8-megapixel camera.

A few more shots of the London follow below.
