Up until now, we figured that the only people who would regularly use the Apple Watch’s heartbeat-sharing feature would be stalkers who would repeatedly send their heartbeats to unrequited loves. However, some new parents have found a non-creepy use for this feature: Sharing their newborn baby’s heartbeat with family members.

YouTube user AlphaGlitch over the weekend posted a heartwarming video that showed them putting an Apple Watch on their newborn’s wrist, recording its heartbeat and then sending it to family members who lived in other parts of the country. They described the as “a really awesome experience that we couldn’t have done without the Apple Watch.”
