Retina display-equipped MacBook Pro specs, pricing details emerge

We’ve seen details surrounding Apple’s upcoming mid-2012 MacBook Pros, Mac Pros and MacBook Air laptops revealed ahead of WWDC 2012, and now a new report claims to reveal preliminary details surrounding a second set of MacBook Pro laptops. According to 9to5Mac, the following three MacBook Pro notebook computers will feature new high-definition Retina displays when they are unveiled during Apple’s WWDC keynote on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Eastern, 10:00 a.m. Pacific:

  • MC975LL/A – MBP 15.4/2.3/8GB/256GB FLASH-USA
  • MC976LL/A – MBP 15.4/2.6/8GB/512GB FLASH-USA
  • MD831LL/A – MBP 15.4/2.7/16GB/768GB FLASH-USA

It was expected that Retina display-equipped models would cost a premium, and according to this report, prices for the high-end models could reach $4,000 and beyond.
