It might not come as much of a surprise since Apple posted record-breaking iPhone 5s and 5c sales at launch, but it’s still notable that the iPhone 5s was by far the top-selling smartphone at all four major U.S. carriers for the month of September. CNET has shared Canaccord Genuity’s latest report that shows that despite its late September release, the iPhone 5s sold more units than any other phone at AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint. Samsung’s Galaxy S4 has been the phone to beat on most carriers for the past several months, but Apple managed to reclaim that title in the last two weeks of September. The iPhone 5c is placing second or third at all four carriers as well, but signs are pointing to a faster decline for the cheaper iPhone.
